Our dear, dear friend Brian, who alway made us laugh. What a colourful life you led: bakery delivery boy, concierge and chauffeur to rock stars, estate agent, antiques dealer to beach comer. The stories you told were astonishing, and some of them even true! What battles we had at the miserable card table and raucous nights of putting the world to rights. And what a memory! Who else still knows the winner, jockey and trainer of the 2.40 at Pontefract on November 26th, 1972? Brian you are dearly missed and will always be fondly remembered.
